Why ads?

Tasty TV plays videos from YouTube, so YouTube’s ads come with them. We don’t strip them, and we won’t: an ad-free rip pays nobody.

The ads are how the artist gets paid here. We build channels from artists’ own channels wherever we can find them, so a view is monetised for the person who made the record rather than for whoever re-uploaded it.

Would rather not see them? A YouTube Premium subscription removes ads, and artists are still paid — YouTube pays rights holders out of subscription revenue instead of ad revenue. Either way, the play counts for them.
